Peter Russert
Peter has been helping companies with positioning, naming, and messaging strategy for 20 years. He was a Principal and the Director of Naming at Landor Associates, where he guided successful verbal branding programs for U.S. and international clients, including Asiana Airlines, Del Monte Foods, Ford Motor Company, Warner Bros., WordPerfect, IBM, Sutter Home Winery, Hawaiian Airlines, Novell, and many others. He went on to guide messaging strategy as the Creative Director at Symantec Corporation before starting StealThunder.
Peter holds a B.A. in English Literature from the University of Pennsylvania, and has completed graduate work in Classical and Modern Philosophy at the University of California, Santa Cruz. He has lectured at Stanford University Professional Workshops on brand building and brand management. A former high school All-American football player, these days Peter lives out his sports dreams coaching his twin sons’ flag football and NJB basketball teams.
